UPS students and professors, as well as professionals in the field of business began the continuing education courses organized by the business administration major in the university's branch campus in Guayaquil. 

Through these courses UPS supports participants to update and strengthen their knowledge. The courses take place from Monday to Friday from 6pm  - 8pm, they end on April 21st. 
The courses are:

-    Excel applied to human resources management- in this course participants will learn how to use formulas with a direct application in the field of HR.

-    Personal finance- the course is aimed at the management of personal finances by using basic tools that involve the management of resources and the efficient use of people's equity. 

-    Brand management and merchandising- focused on current knowledge and current tendencies of a brand and its application in merchandising

-    Marketing in market research applying SPSS software- the course provides tools for business research processes

-    Specialization program in foreign trade for entrepreneurs: train and update participants' knowledge in foreign trade in international negotiation and learn about the national regulations that are currently being applied.

-    Trade marketing as a key element in trade management- will provide the tools, processes, actions and techniques to manage key strategies in distribution channels in order to maximize sales results. 

The topics were chosen after having conducted a survey to business administration alumni. "The courses have had a great acceptance, we have seen that alumni is interested in taking part of the courses", said Joffre Medida, coordinator of the courses.
