The training sessions for researchers that took place in the university's branch campus in Guayaquil came to an end. The aim of the sessions was to strengthen professors' research skills.

The sessions, which began on the 26th April, were divided into two stages. The first was led by Luis Miguel Romero, PhD. (Universidad de Huelva) who spoke about key topics for researchers: specialized search for references in Scopus and Web of Science, writing the theoretical framework, exploration of designs and methodological approaches of scientific research.

The second was led by Angel Torres, PhD., he spoke about quantitative and qualitative methodology, analysis of results, conclusions and the publication of scientific articles. Miguel Romero and Angel Torees are researchers of the Red Interuniversitaria Euroamericana de Investigación en Competencias Mediáticas para la Ciudadanía (Alfamed), vice president and a permanent member, respectively.
