The physical education undergraduate program in our branch campus in Cuenca invites the university community to celebrate Ecuadorian Sports Day by taking part in several activities on Thursday, July 26th starting at 9am.

Students will play different sports as well as traditional games. Children and teenagers from the Salesian Foundation PACES and other sports institutions from the city will take part in this event. There will be about 300 athletes attending this event. 

Ecuadorian sports day is celebrated as a tribute to the 1996 Olympic Games when Jefferson Perez won Ecuador’s first gold Olympic medal.
