The university’s Coworking StartUPS invites students, researchers, entrepreneurs and professionals to take part in the biggest entrepreneurship boot camp in the university: “rETHOS Bootcamp 2019” from the 20th to the 22nd of June in Baguanchi convention center in the city of Cuenca.

 

In the event there will be several multidisciplinary teams from all over the country who will work together to develop prototypes of their projects; the projects will then be enhanced with innovation and creativity.

 

Methodology of the event:

 

- Talks led by national and international speakers about how to strengthen prototypes, business models and pitches

 

- There will be several mentors who specialize in different areas to support participants

 

- There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. 1st place will win $4,000, 2nd place will get $3000 and $1000 for the 3rd place winners

 

- The three winners will have training workshops worth $5,000; the workshops will be carried out by Universidad Politecnica Salesiana and external organizations 

 

- Winners will be chosen by the mentors, who will contribute with 50% of the evaluation, and the jury who will evaluate the remaining 50% according to the pitch. 

 

Rules:

 

- The participating teams must have a feasible product

 

- To participate, teams must correctly fill in and answer the questions in the request form

 

- The teams selected to participate in the boot camp will be notified via email or phone call.

 

- The teams chosen to participate will get a full scholarship that includes transport to the venue of the event and back home, materials, accommodation and food during the entire event.
