The university's branch campus in Guayaquil held a special event to welcome new students from all undergraduate programs. The event was held under the salesian charisma, "the idea of having these activities are to make students feel part of our institution", said Cesar Andrade, director of the communication department.

There was even a theme to go with this event, "Avengers Infinity War", there was the presentation of the modern dance group and the selection of "Miss university". "This has been a great welcoming event, it has enabled us to come together and feel at home", said Demi Morán, winner of Miss university.
