The university's "Katharsis" theater group presented the play "Una cita con Pipo" during the "Cultural Wednesday Program" in our branch campus in Guayaquil.

This presentation was held as a tribute to Jose Martinez, a writer from Guayaquil. During this event, students who are part of the theater group presented parts of plays written by this famous writer: 

• Los falsos enamorados.   

 

• Los falsos milagros.   

 

• La gallina del convento.   

 

• La audición.   

 

• El baratillo de la sinceridad. 

   
It is worth noting that the actors and actresses attended classes that focused on Improvisation, vocalization, collective creation, corporal expression and diction. 

The plays are adapted to the reality of society today. "We explore all fields and make poems, tell stories and write songs based on reality", said Gabriel Gallardo, director of the Katharsis theater group.
