The university's branch campus in Guayaquil held a welcome ceremony for 107 students who will study a master's degree in especial education, electronics and automation, psychology and electricity. The ceremony was attended by university officials, professors and students.

Diego Peñaloza, head of master's degrees at the university, said "Our master's degrees have had great acceptance nationwide, this encourages us to make other study programs available to people".

The master's degree in education with a focus on People with Multiple Disabilities, addresses educational processes to improve the performance of people with disabilities.

The master's degree in Psychology with a focus on Psychosocial and Community Intervention seeks solutions to psychosocial problems from the psychosocial and community approach developed by this field of knowledge in Latin America.

The Master's degree in Electricity with a focus on Power Electric Systems educates students for the development and planning of efficient electrical systems using energy resources.

The Master's degree in Electronics and Automation, with a focus on Industrial Computing and Process Control, seeks to educate professionals with a high technological sense according to the demands of today's industry.

The postgraduate programs will be held during the 2018-2020 period. There will soon be new master's degrees in the field of accounting, communication and industrial engineering
