Members of the university's modern dance group and the Katharsis theater group in our branch campus in Guayaquil attended a workshop on improvisation to help them organize their movements on stage, where music plays an important role.

The workshop was led by the Brazilian producer Deivid Miranda, who spoke to participants about his experience on how to strengthen his artistic presentations on any stage "I'm very happy to be here, these students have great potential. They are dancers and actors with great skills", said Miranda.

The workshop lasted one week and participants were able to enhance their body expression techniques, improvisation and teamwork skills.

"As artists we have to constantly attend training sessions to learn about techniques that will strengthen our knowledge in theater and dance, these activities encourage us to improve", said Cristian Lopez, captain of the dance group.

The dance group from our branch campus in Guayaquil is currently preparing to attend the world dance championship that will be held in Orlando, Florida at the end April. "We are very happy to represent our country and our university. These workshops will help improve our presentation in Orlando", said Michelle Garcia.
