UPS students won the 2016 "Zero Latitud" Robot Games

The Robotics Club from Universidad Politecnica Salesiana's branch in Cuenca won two gold medals during the International Robot Games Tournament " Zero Latitud 2016", which was held in Yachay May 10th – 15th. They won in the Humanoids Race and the Social Networks Challenge. The university also won four second places, one fourth, and one fifth place. 

The tournament was attended by students from Ecuadorian and Latin American universities. Due to the robotics club outstanding participation, they were invited to attend other international competitions in Mexico, Guerra de Robots and Tryta

Students were very happy and said they will continued working to help the development of research in the field of robotics.
