On May 6th, the university’s branch campus in Guayaquil will hold a workshop on Non Verbal Communication: how to correctly manage your body language and voice. This workshop is aimed at UPS alumni from all majors.
In the workshop participants will learn how to identify the hidden emotions in non verbal communication to control relationships effectively, learn about the volume, intonation, rhythm and pause as a key element in non verbal communication, and learn about fundamental aspects to interpret conscious and unconscious messages.
The topics are:
- How to recognize and interpret non verbal behavior in others
- How to efficiently manage your own non verbal behavior
The following skills will be developed:
- Decipher the meaning of facial expressions and gestures
- Understand a person’s body posture
- Understand that you voice can express more than your words
- Improve your active listening and communication skills
The renowned speaker will be Jessica Maridueña Guerrero, specialist in communication for change, with 16 years’ experience in Ecuadorian and Spaniard means of communication
