GENETIC IMPROVEMENT AND GLOBAL PRODUCTION IN LIVESTOCK SPECIES RESEARCH GROUP - GLOBALGEN

The Genetic Improvement and Global Production in Livestock Species Research Group (GLOBALGEN for its acronym in Spanish) creates, transmits and applies scientific and technological knowledge in the field of animal health and production; it takes into account the needs of society and strengthens the values that characterize our university.


The aim of the group is to promote research, development and innovation in technologies for sustainable, ecological and environmentally friendly livestock production. Research includes the recovery of species and the maintenance of animal biodiversity using DNA techniques in addition to raising awareness of respect for animal rights.
