“DON PATAGONIA” IN GUAYAQUIL

On Tuesday October 14th, the Italian theater group “Assemblea Teatro” presented its play in Guayaquil as part of Don Bosco’s bicentennial celebration. The event was organized by Universidad Politécnica Salesiana and the Italian Embassy in Ecuador.

The play is based on the life of Father Alberto María De Agostini, a missionary of Don Bosco, a photographer, documentary maker, mountain climber, and geographer who fought against the extinction of the Patagonian Indians.

The play will also be presented in Cuenca, Salinas de Guaranda and Quito.
