The university’s business administration and accounting majors in Guayaquil invite professors, researchers, officials and all those people in the field of economics and accounting to take part in the First Scientific Meeting on Administrative, Accounting and Business Sciences.

The aim of the meeting is to talk about the most relevant research results and experiences of business practicums.

The topics were:

• Project management as tools for management and business.
• Economy and popular finance. 
• Administration, Community social entrepreneurship and innovation in Ecuador.
• Marketing and consumption.
• International policy and fair trade for development.
• Social responsibility, distribution of wealth and quality of life.
• Social balance and corporate governance.
• Application of IFRS.
• The government accounting system and professional ethics 
• Pedagogical problems in an accountant’s education
• The design of accounting systems and internal control.
• Management accounting, special audits and computer systems.

Contributions presented by professors and students will be published in the scientific memory (with ISBN) of the event and the best articles will be sent to our “Retos” journal.
