The university's community involvement department and the Virtual and Distance Education Department (UNADEDVI for its acronym in spanish) has been working on an Education program on Cooperativism, Citizenship and Leadership of the Jardin Azuayo credit union.

In February, the university held a course on virtual environments in the computer laboratories located in its facilities of Maria Auxiliadora. The aim of the course was to teach participants about E-learning platforms and tools that can be used by educators of the credit union.

There were 49 educators in this course who learned about pedagogical concepts and didactic tools of virtual learning environments. The course was led by Pablo Farfan, director of UNADEDVI.
