National and international education institutions visited the photography exhibition titled "Inclusive Education"

In order to create awareness about inclusion in the university community, the Information and Communication Technologies for Disabilities Research Group (Grupo de Tecnologías de Información y Comunicación Asociadas a Discapacidad (TICAD) and the Unesco chairs program held a photography exhibition which they titled "Inclusion everywhere". There were over 200 photographs in the exhibition which showed the activities that were carried out by research groups for inclusion.

During the event there was also an exhibition of projects on ICTs such as: laptops, tablets, mobile apps, QR code reader tools, QR codes with voice linked to text messages, audio and braille. "We want to make the community aware about the need to support people with disabilities and favor their inclusion in education, society and work by using innovative tools based on ICTs", said Alice Naranjo, coordinator of TICAD. 

Students and professors from the following institutions attended this event: Centro "4 de Enero", Unidad Educativa San Benildo La Salle, Fundación Sin Barrera (FUNSIBA), volunteers from Universidad de Montreal, Unidad Educativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Ricaurte.

During the event they also presented some micro projects from associations of people with disabilities. "With this exhibition we hope to create a high degree of awareness so students can get interested and join the research group to seek inclusion", said Naranjo
