The Student Services department is currently receiving applications for the “Programa de Crédito Educativo con Responsabilidad Social” or the Student Loan program with social responsibility (CERS) as well as other types of Scholarships for the September 2015 – February 2016 period. The applications for the CERS scholarship can be submitted starting on Wednesday May 20th until Friday, June 19th, 2015. Applications for other scholarships will be from June 30 - July 24, 2015. 

Take your applications to the student services department located in the Cornelio Merchan building from Monday to Friday from 8am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 6pm or on Saturday from 9am to 11am.

Academic Requirements that must be fulfilled to qualify for CERS:

•    Be a regular student at Universidad Politécnica Salesiana
•    Have a minimum grade point average of 75/100 in the March – August 2015 period
•    Having taken at least 60% of the credits in the curriculum during the previous semester.
•    Having passed all your subjects the previous semester. 

REQUIREMENTS

Download the socioeconomic form from the university's website, fill it in and take it to the students service department along with the other required documents. Remember to come with your parents.

1.    A letter of application addressed to the director of the Student Services department. The letter must be written on a sheet provided at the University Treasury department
2.    A payroll or an affidavit of those who contribute to their family’s economy.
3.    The most recent receipt of three basic services (electricity, phone or water  bill)
4.    Receipt of the property tax payment (for those who own a home)
5.    Lease contract or a document which demonstrates the payment of rent
6.    In case you have a car, a copy of the registration
7.    The ticket for having attended the biannual CERS meeting, this is for students who are renewing the loan
8.    Copy of your personal and your parents ID
9.    Amortization table in case you have a bank loan.
10.   In case the Student Services department requires additional information, the student will be notified in advance.

REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR OTHER SCHOLARSHIPS:

1)    Buy a sheet at the University's Treasury Department
2)   Fill in a form
3)    Present all documentation at the student service department
