On August 4th, Universidad Politécnica Salesiana and the Internal Revenue Service in Guayaquil inaugurated an office that will provide people free advice regarding accounting and taxation issues.

Both institutions signed an inter institutional agreement that will strengthen the taxation system and will foster social cohesion that will favor the compliance of citizens.
"Universidad Politecnica Salesiana is committed to community involvement and as part of its social responsibility in higher education, it has helped with its professors and students, while the IRS has helped change public policies through the exchange of experiences between these two institutions", said Andres Bayolo, Vice President of the university's branch in Guayaquil.

The new office is located in building "F" in the "Centenario" campus located on Robles and Limberg street. The office will be handled by business administration students and professors who have been previously trained by IRS representatives. Opening hours are: Monday to Friday from 9am to 9pm and Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.
