UPS students presented their research during the IEEE ICA-ACCA 2016
UPS students, members of the university's Energies Research Group, presented three papers during the IEEE International Conference on Automatica ICA-ACCA 2016 which took place in the city of Curico, Chile in the month of October.
Attending the conference gave students the opportunity to broaden their knowledge in science and technology in the fields of electricity, electronics, computing, biomedical engineering and industrial engineering. During the conference they were also able to talk to experts and learn about some of their experiences.
The research was done by UPS students Wilson Borja and Cristian Carangui, both majoring in electricity. They were guided by UPS professor Diego Chacon.
The papers were:
• "Curvas Características de Electrodomésticos de Alto Consumo".
• "Experimental Identification of the Transfer Function Model of a Scale Vtol System by PRBS Signals Under Ground Effect"
• "Descripción de las pruebas habituales aplicadas al transformador de potencia en el contexto de gestión de la condición".
• "Evaluación del Índice de Riesgo de Transformadores de Potencia en Concordancia con el Contexto Ecuatoriano".
In the following months these papers will be published and indexed in the IEEE Xplore scientific database.
