Our branch campus in Guayaquil held a Fair on Innovation, Education and Science which was organized by the Ministry of Education. The aim of this event was to present the most notable projects of about 50 education institutions, which were honored by companies from the private sector. 

This event was held thanks to a cooperation agreement between both institutions. Alegria Crespo, Minister of Education; and Raul Alvarez, vice president of our branch campus in Guayaquil, took part in the fair. 

 
Verónica Villamar, district director Tarqui – Tenguel, said that "this regional fair allows students to develop their skills. We have students who have creativity and innovation, we are convinced that this helps them be more competitive."

 
María Morán, National Director of Special and Inclusive Education of the Ministry of Education, pointed out that "we have 37 educational institutions that are competing with innovation, technology and agricultural projects. They have to present their projects, demonstrating their talent and capacity."

 
The fair not only highlighted students’ creative and technical capacity, but also the collaboration between educational institutions and the private sector, thus promoting technical and scientific education in the region.
