Several Salesian institutions, such as Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Colegio Técnico Salesiano, Parroquia Don Bosco, Don Bosco printing house, Mecanoplast, and Don Bosco school celebrated the 200th anniversary of the birth of Don Bosco. 

The activities were planned by father Naún Tapia; there was a musical festival and a sports competition for professors, administrative staff and students. To end the program there was a concert by the "La Grupa" band.

The festivities ended with mass and the inauguration of the new artificial turf for the sports competitions.
