Analysis of Structural technology in engineering (ATEI for its acronym in Spanish)

This group focuses on the analysis and design of structures by developing conceptual models, numerical simulation and carrying out laboratory tests to understand their behavior and validate the models in order to evaluate safety, functionality and durability of structures under static and dynamic loads, and environmental actions.

The ATEI research group is a Center for Scientific Innovation and Technological Development, it contributes to the analysis and design of structures by developing theoretical models and numerical simulation protocols, it applies integral behavior contrasting in validation laboratory tests to fully understand the structures’ behavior and verify the developed models, which will help provide comprehensive solutions in compliance with international regulations with social responsibility.

It seeks to become an internationally recognized Center of Scientific Innovation and Technological Development, leading the production and application of scientific knowledge for the development of structural systems within the framework of new numerical and experimental models. It welcomes suggestions of international regulations with social awareness regarding people´s development.
