Environmental Club

DESCRIPTION

The environmental club is made up of students committed to protecting the environment. We carry out activities about the importance of our actions to take care of the environment and to create awareness in the university community and the general public.

MISSION

To provide solutions to environmental problems by creating sustainable projects with the environmental engineering undergraduate program in order to help society be more environmentally clean for our planet Earth.

VISION

Become a group that encourages everyone to take part in environmental projects that help the university's sustainable development and ensure the efficient use of resources

ACTIVITIES

The environmental club is mainly involved in academic, research and community engagement activities in order to innovate, encourage creativity and most importantly create awareness about protecting the environment.

The club has received the following recognitions:

• A recognition awarded by SENESCYT – UNESCO for winning first place in the event titled: "Estudiantes construyendo igualdad y ambiente en la educación superior" in the category of promoting a sustainable life and caring for the environment

• Awarded the Distinción Ambiental Metropolitana "Quito Sostenible 2018"
