UPS and its Coworking StartUPS office invites professionals and students in Ecuador to take part in a new experience of entrepreneurship in the 2018 reTHOS Boot Camp from the 26th to 28th of April in the Baguanchi convention center in Cuenca.

 

reTHOS is a entrepreneurship bootcamp that brings together several multidisciplinary teams during three days to work in a cooperative manner and develop prototypes that will then be improved.

 

 

Methodology of the event:

 

- Strengthening of prototypes, business model and improvement of the pitch, through lectures given by national and international speakers.

 

- There is a team of mentors in various areas of expertise, so that participants will benefit from greater knowledge and experience according to the needs of the project.

 

- There will be three winners : 1st, 2nd and 3rd place,  they will get the following prizes:

 

- Six thousand dollars to the first place winners, three thousand dollars to the second winners and one thousand dollars to the third which will be delivered through a revised investment plan supervised by officials of the StartUPS Project of Universidad Politécnica Salesiana.

 

- A six-month Incubation process for each of the three winning teams, valued at five thousand dollars each and carried out by UPS and Coworking Cuenca.

 

- Awards from our sponsors.

 

- The winners will be chosen by our team of mentors who will provide 50% of the evaluation, based on the performance of each team during the Bootcamp and the remaining 50% will be assigned by the jury in the presentation of the Pitch.

 

CONDITIONS:

 

- Only teams of 3 to 5 people will be accepted 

 

- The teams to most likely participate are the ones that have a prototype or a viable product

 

- To be chosen, teams must properly complete the questions in the registration form and complete their profiles

 

- The teams that have been selected to participate will be notified via email or phone call

 

- If you are chosen, all team members are automatically awarded a complete scholarship to participate in the 2018 reTHOS boot camp. The scholarship includes transportation from Quito, Guayaquil or Cuenca to the place of the event, a kit with all the materials needed for the camp, accommodation and meals during the entire event.
