The university invites you to take part in the 2nd International Congress on Bioethics, Technology and Society with the support of the Citizen and University Network of Ethics and Bioethics (RUCEB for its acronym in Spanish) which is made up by Universidad Catolica de Cuenca, Universidad del Azuay and our university (UPS).

The objectives of the congress are to:

-  Analyze and understand the role of ethics and bioethics and its implications in research, social behavior and fundamental human rights.

- Create awareness in society about the importance of ethics and bioethics in our daily lives.

- Provide feasible alternatives regarding concern for life

- Strengthen ethics and bioethics systems in research in order to guarantee the systematic integration of technologies in different dimensions of life.

In this regard, we invite professors, researchers and professionals to send their papers on the following topics:

- Bioethics, health and technoscience

- Bioethics, youth and family in the pandemic

- Bioethics, society, culture and politics

- Bioethics and bio rights
