Program to strengthen public institutions in Latin America

Fundación Botín started the sixth edition of its program “Programa para el Fortalecimiento de la Función Pública en América Latina”, a program aimed at improving regional development through a network of well-prepared public workers who are committed to their work.

The Foundation will select 32 people to participate in the program and 15 alternates. The program will begin on October 3rd, 2015 in Brown University, USA, then in Spain and it will end in Brazil in Fundación Getulio Vargas on November 18th. 

 
AIMS:

•    To strengthen public institutions in Latin America so as to develop economically, socially, and sustainable. 


•    To encourage regional development through the creation of  a network of well-prepared public workers who are committed to their work.

•    To promote education, work and teamwork in public workers.

•    To support university students’ talents, creativity and leadership skills.

•    To actively involve participants in the development and growth of the network of public workers in Latin America. 

Thanks to these scholarships students will develop leadership skills that will help them transform institutions in their country.
