3 week specialization courses in Israel

The Government of Israel is currenlty offering scholarships for specialization courses which last approximately 3 weeks and includes food, accommodation, health insurance , package tours and study. According to the coordination department of the Centre, these scholarships are awarded to Ecuadorian professionals who are working in the area according according to the topic of each course, the candidate will only pay his / her roundtrip ticket to Israel. 

The areas are agriculture, education, social -economic development , urban - rural development and public health.

As for the minimum work experience and age limit, they will be established in each course. Otherwise , it is necessary to have at least three years experience and be 50 years old maximum.
 
Applicants must complete a form which can found at mashav@quito.mfa.gov.il

People who are interested in applying should fill in the registration form (including the last two pages, which must be completed, signed and stamped by a doctor of the public or private sector).

Here is a list of the medical exams needed:  

ESR = erythrocyte sedimentation rate blood
HB / HCT = hemoglobin
WHC = white blood cells
HIV = AIDS
Glucose in the urine
Protein in the urine
 

The applicant must also enclose the following:
 
a. Currículum Vitae
b. Two presentation and recommendation letters from his/her current job stating that the applicant will have no trouble attending the course.
c. Copy of university degree
 
In case you are applying to a course in English, you must complete and attach absolutely all documents in this language.

The forms are sent to the competent authorities in Israel, who after a thorough assessment make the selection. The list of candidates is sent to the Embassy, which will then contact the applicants.

Successful candidates are benefited with a grant of stay (accommodation, meals , course fees , health insurance). This scholarship does not cover the cost of international airfare and travel expenses. 

The Embassy of Israel gives the candidates a formal letter of acceptance to the course, which will be used by the candidate to make the appropriate arrangements for the trip .

The successful candidate must verify that his/her passport is valid for at least 6 months. If the duration is less than 6 months he/she should get a new passport. No visa is required for entry into Israel.

If the candidate does not buy the air ticket by the deadline, he /she will be removed from the course in order to provide space for another candidate. Once you buy your ticket the participant will be given a letter in Hebrew which must be submitted in migration at the airport in the city of Tel Aviv.
