3rd Seminar by the "Estrado" network in Ecuador

"Estrado” the Latin American Network that studies a professor’s job and UPS will hold the 3rd “Red Estrado Seminar” for Ecuador from the 12th to the 14th July. 

The seminar will be supported by the university’s pedagogy major, the GIPCYPE (Grupo de Investigación de Políticas Curriculares y Prácticas Educativas GIPCYPEand the GIEI (Grupo de Investigación de Educación e Interculturalidad GIEIresearch groups, the Abya Yala publishing house and the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Sociales y Educativas (CENAISE).

The Estrado Network was founded 15 years ago, its purpose is to exchange experiences with researchers, contribute to the political and academic debate on teaching in the Latin American context. In Ecuador, the network was established in 2010 and it has held two meetings - national seminars and has presented the book “Reflexiones sobre la formación y el trabajo docente en Ecuador y América Latina”, contains part of the reports and studies presented at these events.

The 3rd seminar will be held in the university’s branch in Quito and will have for working sessions based on the overall topic “The teaching issue in Ecuador during the last ten years”

• Teacher’s work and organization
• Public policies and teaching profession
• Experiences of teaching
