Thanks to an agreement with Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), Computer Engineering professors at UPS-Guayaquil will hold the Second Andean Congress on Computing, Information and Education, CACIED 2015.

The Congress will take place at ESPOL in Guayaquil from the 4th to the 6th of November. There will be keynote speeches, presentation of papers, tutorials and posters. 

Researchers, professionals, professors and students will attend this event which will give participants a place to share and socialize relevant topics according to their experience and research in the field of computing, information and education. 

The topics will be: 

-    “Management of information, software engineering and programming”
-    “Intelligent systems and knowledge, computing and telecommunications”
-    “Education in computer engineering”

Papers that are accepted will be published in a special edition of Revista Tecnológica de la ESPOL-ARTE or in Revista Ventana Informática de la Universidad de Manizales; both journals are indexed to Latindex with ISSN number. 

Projects can be presented as papers or posters and must have a minimum of 8 pages and a maximum of 15 and should be written in Spanish. The products must be unpublished, the images and charts must be included within the text and not at the end.
