“Don Bosco, the musical” will be back on stage on the 30th and 31st of January in the university theater in Cuenca.  The musical has been adapted from a musical comedy titled “Don Bosco”, written by Antonio Gil, Juan Faner (text and poems), José Antonio García Morato and Óscar Gómez (music).

The musical is about Don Bosco’s Salesian Oratory, where he and his salesians educated children and young people through the preventive system which is based on reason, religion and love.

The two hour musical is performed by 60 students from the university’s branch campus in Guayaquil, there’s acting, dancing and singing.

The musical is directed by Gabriel Gallardo, choreography by Maria de los Angeles Andrade, music by Ruth Diaz, the band directed by kevin Barba and the production by Luis Alvarez Rodas.
