CULTURE, FOOD AND AGRICULTURE RESEARCH GROUP

The Culture, Food and Agriculture Research Group studies the dynamics of food supply from production to consumption and agrarian change. It pays special attention to problems of food production by poor farmers, women farmers or traders. It also analyzes how the traditional food networks and the new networks created by development projects (AFN) are formed. It studies the problems and possible solutions by combining agricultural sciences and anthropology and using qualitative and quantitative methods.
