Communication, Education and Environment Research Group - GICEA

The Communication, Education and Environment Research Group (GICEA for its acronym in Spanish) proposes a new view at education and ways of learning through a collaborative, interdisciplinary, intercultural and participatory manner by creating projects that enable kichwa and Cañari students to teach other students their culture, rituals, medicine. The group analyzes ancestral knowledge and interculturality so as to appreciate the heritage of Andean culture.
