CIVIL ENGINEERING RESEARCH GROUP - GICIC

CIVIL ENGINEERING RESEARCH GROUP - GICIC

The Civil Engineering Research Group (GICIC for its acronym in Spanish) was created in June 2017 considering projections of civil engineering and related sciences such as earth and material sciences. The group is made up by a multidisciplinary team of professors from the civil engineering undergraduate program in our branch campus in Quito.

The group conducts research both in the areas of science and engineering. We understand science as the search for production and verification of theoretical hypotheses. We consider our country’s social reality as a motivation for our work. The research lines are directly linked to the needs of the public and private sectors.
