The Communication, Development and Politics Research Group (GICODEPO for its acronym in Spanish) was created in 2014. Its aim is to conduct research on problems related to communication, with a multidisciplinary and plural perspective; it focuses on its relationship with development and politics from a critical perspective; it looks at contemporary debates from communication studies in Ibero – America. In this regard, the GICODEPO research group understands communication as being participative with the community.
