Electronics, control and automation Research Group - GIECA

The Electronics, Control and Automation Research Group (GIECA for its acronym in Spanish) aims to contribute to the development of sustainable research aimed at solving social and industrial problems, through new control and automation techniques using new technologies to help people with disabilities, by creating efficient prototypes, in addition to developing new algorithms and intelligent control architectures to automate industrial processes and thus increase efficiency and productivity in companies.

GIECA seeks to work on a new dynamic of scientific academic production in the area of Electronics and Automation that enables dialogues between science and technology, an important objective around emblematic projects of a public and private nature. as well as in relation to the change in the production model presented in the 2017-2021 national development plan.
