Applied Financial and Accounting Research Group - GIFCA

The Applied Financial and Accounting Research Group (GIFCA for its acronym in Spanish) is made up of professors and researchers from the Accounting and Auditing undergraduate program in the university’s branch campus in Guayaquil. It conducts studies on financial trends (international, public and corporate) and stresses its engagement with Ecuador’s economic development on issues such as cost management processes in different types of institutions, on comprehensive auditing processes and on the pedagogical processes of accountant training.
