The biomedical engineering research group (GIIB for its acronym in Spanish) seeks to conduct research and come up with solutions to current problems in society in the field of biomedical engineering. Because it is the first biomedical engineering research group in Ecuador, it is committed to encouraging other similar activities in the country.
