Applied Mathematics Research Group - GIIMA

The Applied Mathematics Research Group (GIIMA for its acronym in Spanish) is dedicated to the interdisciplinary study of scientific problems whose solution focuses on the use of mathematical methods. The problems derive from several areas of knowledge, with transdisciplinary lines of research.

The group is made up of full-time professors-researchers in our branch campus in Guayaquil, whose goals are focused on responsible and ethical research. The studies respond to priority problems within the Policies of Good Living and changes in Ecuador’s Production Model.
