Energy Transition Research Group

Energy Transition Research Group

Currently, energy technologies are used to develop sustainable and efficient solutions to global environmental and energy problems. The aim of the group is to promote the transition towards renewable energy sources, such as solar and wind, as well as improve energy efficiency in the industrial, electrical, transportation, commercial and residential sectors. In addition, energy storage, smart grids and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence are incorporated to optimize energy generation and consumption.

Mission:

Support the development and application of energy technologies to promote sustainable development through clean, efficient, inclusive and resilient systems, promoting climate change mitigation, the conservation of natural resources and human well-being.

Vision:

Become a local, national and regional benchmark research group in the field of energy transition
