UNIVERSITY AND COMMON GOOD RESEARCH GROUP - GIUB

The University and Common Good Research Group (GIUB for its acronym in Spanish) seeks to rethink the university’s impact on society. It analyzes our university in the Ecuadorian context as a common good based on the contributions by Elionor Ostrom (2009) who analyzed governance of common goods in collective institutions.

The author’s vision encourages the development of intercultural education in Andean and Amazon communities with management structures derived from university autonomy.
