BIOENGINEERING AND BIO MECHATRONICS RESEARCH GROUP - GIBYB

The Bioengineering and Bio mechatronics Research Group (GIBYB for its acronym in Spanish), has a multidisciplinary approach that seeks to provide both academic and operational structure to different research and technological development activities and initiatives in the fields of biomedical engineering, diagnostic imaging and signal processing, computer vision, medical robotics, and automatic control.

Currently, and in cooperation with different research groups at UPS, it has focused on research and innovation projects applied to the health sector in order to solve real world problems and develop technological and methodological tools to meet the needs of industrial and service companies, health institutions, public sector and social organizations.
