APRIL 2020- SEPTEMBER 2020 ACADEMIC PERIOD 

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

 

 

1. NEW STUDENTS

 

  • The enrollment will be online online guide through a ZOOM videoconference, a link will be sent to your email address 

  • Watch the tutorial for online enrollment: tutorial para matrícula en línea.

  • You must send a PDF file of the socioeconomic form to the student services department: bienestargye@ups.edu.ec  

  • You must send all the following necessary documents for your enrollment to admisionesgye@ups.edu.ec  

  • For Ecuadorians:

    • Scanned copy of your Id card

    • Scanned copy of your high school diploma 

    • Scanned copy of your "certificado de votación", for students who are over 18. 

    • Passport size photo

  • For foreigners:

    • Scanned copy of your passport.

    • Scanned copy of your study visa.

    • Scanned copy of your high school diploma, which must be recognized the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education, or must have the apostille if the student is currenlty living abroad 

    • Passport size photo.

2. ONLINE ENROLLMENT FOR REGULAR STUDENTS 

 

  • Check the academic enrollment calender for the date of your enrollment

  • Check the schedule according to your undergraduate program at the end of this page 

  • The online enrollment can be done by accessing the university's website with your information(Iniciar sesión). We advise you to use: Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera, Safari.

  • If necessary, remember to add subjects from first and second semester. In case you cannot add subjects, you must enroll with the help of someone from the university (look below-assisted enrollment).  

  • The electronic invoice will be sent to your email address.

4. TO CHANGE GROUPS

 

  • You can change your classes groups during the month of May

  • In case you were not able to change one of your classes, you will have to request the change to the director of your undergraduate program.

5. PAYMENT 

 

  1. En efectivo: CASH: you can go to either Banco del Pacifico or Banco Pichincha to pay the corresponding amount one day after your pre registration (new students must wait 48 hours). Present you ID  you do not need a deposit slip.

  2. Credit cards 

  • Choose the Pago en line option in the university's web site

 

 

In the Opciones menu click on "Pagos Pendientes":

 

 

Deferred payment 3, 6, 9 and 12 months with an interest rate:  Diners Club, Pacificad (Visa or MasterCard) Banco Pacífico and Alia del Banco Solidario.

 

c. Transfer: After a bank transfer, make sure you send an email to  vobando@ups.edu.ec and state your ID number, names, and payment informations.
