NANOTECH Research Group

NANOTECH Research Group

The Micro-Nanotechnology and Nuclear Energy Research Group (NANOTECH) focuses electronic engineering on micro- and nano-scale characterization and manufacturing to produce a wide range of devices, nanomaterials and microsystems. It also conducts research in the nuclear field such as radioprotection, dosimetry and shielding.

One of the aims of the research group is knowledge transfer, contribute to increasing knowledge, as well as technological development and innovation.

Mission

Apply electronic engineering for micro- and nano-scale characterization and manufacturing to produce a wide range of devices, nanomaterials and microsystems, and promote research in nuclear physics.

Vision

Become a prestigious research group nationally and internationally, develop knowledge for the manufacture, simulation, manipulation, self-assembly, characterization, search and application of microelectromechanical devices and nanostructures, in addition to applications based on nuclear particle radiation, leading to high technology transfer between academia and industry with social impact.
