In order to strengthen professors' Christian and Salesian nature, the university held a course titled "Good Christians and the Preventive System" in its three branch campuses, Cuenca, Guayaquil and Quito.

About 300 professors attended the course which was supported by the university's identity assurance department.

It was a 120 hours course that was divided into 3 modules, one per month. Participants worked together on several activities and talked about their academic experience based on religion and kindness, which are essential aspects of Don Bosco's preventive system. "We are not simple employees, we feel identified with Don Bosco's charisma and that makes us be more human", said Luis Alvarez, director of the communication and culture department.

This course is part of the university's activities to continuously train professors and strengthen their Salesian identity.
