Outstanding performance by the university choir in Guayaquil's Catedral Metropolitana

The Guayaquil campus choir received a 2 minute standing ovation from 1500 spectators that gathered to hear various choir groups perfom religious music last Sunday April 13th.

The presentation held in the Cathedral was the perfect occasion to reveal the new and talented young members from the Guayaquil Symphony Orchestra, the Infanto Juvenil Symphony, the Antonio Neumane music conservatory, and the university choir who have all worked really hard for this event.

The choir director Elías Tagle said they were preparing other very important themes due to Holy Week (Easter) that will take place at the "Primera Iglesia Bautista" located on Padre Solano and Ximena this Tuesday, April 15th at 7:30.

There will also be guest soloists: Yasmine Yaselga (Soprano), Elisa Ortega (Contralto), Carlos Bolaños (Tenor), under the direction of David Harutyuyan, who will be performing Mozart's  KRÖNUNGSMESSE EN C MAYOR, Kv. 317.
