The university held a special ceremony to welcome students to the new master's degree programs in special education, cultural management, psychology, electronics and automation, electricity and telematics. 

UPS president Javier Herran congratulated the new students for making the decision to study, then Diego Peñaloza, head of master's degree programs, said "professors will guide you through your studies, the university cares about your success".

The programs will end in 2020 and there will soon be a master's program in accounting.
