Cultural Caravan to celebrate the university's 25th anniversary

From the 18th to 21st of June, the university held a "Cultural Caravan" to commemorate the university's 25th anniversary. 

Around 400 students, members of the university's salesian groups of modern dance, folk dance, choir, theater and cheerleaders presented different shows.

The caravan started in the university's branch campus in Quito on June 18th with batucada, folk dance, afro Ecuadorian music, choir, theater, modern dance and other performances.

Jose Juncosa, vice president of the university's campus in Quito, said the cultural events is what makes the university different, it combines academia with cultural events.

On the 20th, students from the salesian groups were in Guayaquil to present modern dance, folk dance and other cultural shows. 

Luis Alvarez, head of communication and culture at UPS, said that all the salesian groups got together for this event.

The last stop of the Cultural Caravan was in the university's branch campus in Cuenca on June 21st, where the dance and theater groups put on another great show to celebrate the university's 25th anniversary.
