The university's six journals (ALTERIDAD, Journal on education; INGENIUS, Journal on science and techology; LA GRANJA, Journal on life sciences; RETOS, Journal on business administration and economics; SOPHIA, Education philosophy; UNIVERSITAS, Social and Human Sciences) have been accepted in the first classification of Ibero American Scientific Publications based on their prestige and impact of the last five years.

This classification is part of the Ibero American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge (REDIB for its acronym in Spanish), which along with Clarivate Analytics, Universia and the Higher Council of Scientific Research in Spain (CSIC, for its acronym in Spanish) have included 1,038 journals; 16 of which are Ecuadorian and 6 belong to our university.

Luis Alvarez Rodas, General Editor of the university, said "Being part of this group of journals makes us proud, this is the result of the hard work carried out by the entire editorial team and the university's officials. We are sure the university will continue to be a protagonist with its journals".
