The impact of the fourth industrial revolution

The 7th International Congress on Auditing, Management and Business – CIAGEN 2019 organized by the business administration and accounting undergraduate programs in Cuenca came to an end after two days of having several talks from speaker from El Salvador, Chile and Ecuador.
 
The Congress was attended by Jorge Garcia, director of the accounting program; Fernanda Guevara, director of the business program; Fernando Pesantez, academic vice president, Cesar Vasquez, vice president of the university's campus in Cuenca; Saul Ortiz, director of the industrial engineering program; and Diana Calle director of the administration and economics area.
 
There were eight keynote speeches and eight conferences  related to the main topic of the event: "The fourth Industrial Revolution". Cesar Vasquez thanked and welcomed the speakers to the congress. He asked attendees, most of whom were UPS students, to take advantage of the congress and increase their knowledge on business and economic issues. 
 
Father Javier Herran highlighted the organization of the Congress and the importance of the topics that were presented. 
 
The most relevant aspects of the congress were:
 
- The experiences of the UNESCO chairs program in the university which can be included into the business context.
 
- The existing technological gap between developing and developed countries 
 
- The use of technologies to improve competitiveness by changing production processes
 
- Digital transformation 
 
- Social responsibility
 
- The burnout syndrome in universities and its effects in the work environment
 
- Correlation of the most influential variables in universities
