The Educational Innovation Research Group, the Information and Communication Technologies for Disabilities Group, the UNESCO chairs program Assistive technologies for inclusive education, AFAA Electronics Corp and the primary education teachers' association began the course titled "Educational Innovation with Google Classroom" aimed at school and high school teachers.

The event, which took place in "centenario campus" in Guayaquil, was attended by around 40 people who wanted to learn about digital tools that would help them improve the learning teaching process. "The course is aimed at creating virtual classrooms to facilitate the integration of different ICT tools in order to share content, favor planning, control processes", said Fransisco Arbelaez, UPS student and one of the instructors.

The 45 hour course will be held in August and September. At the end, participants must present a project according to the area they work in. The platform allows teachers to encourage cooperative work among students. "The tool enables us to program activities according to the needs of every situation", said Arbelaez.

These type of courses will continue to be held in the university. The following course will be EDICO, which will favor inclusive education of students with visual impairment. The course will be aimed at teachers and people with disabilities. Other courses are "Ecommerce" and "EBusiness Negocios Millennials" which will be exclusively aimed at people with disabilities
