The psychology undergraduate program in our branch campus in Guayaquil held an event titled "Psychology Week" from the 12th to the 16th of August with several activities aimed at students and professionals in this field.

The academic projects presented in the "Maria Auxiliadora" campus and the "Centenario" campus were directed by experts in psychology such as Luis Dario Salamone, Elena Sper, Paola Escobar, Miguel de la Rosa and others, who talked to participants about the knowledge they have acquired in their professional career. "These activities are very important because people can discuss several cases", said Stalyn Paz, professor of psychology.

Some of the activities during this week were:

- Presentation of the project titled: Building knowledge through culture

- Presentations of psychophysiology

- Conference: "Current symptoms, what can we find today?

- Cinema – forum

- Workshop- case study

"There is something very significant in psychology and it is precisely the possibility of dealing with people who have a series of conflicts, of being able to listen to them and of being able to help them resolve them and this is really important," said Luis Darío Salamone, principal lecturer of the activities held during the week.

For the directors of the undergraduate program, the activity has been the ideal space for interaction and learning for our future psychology professionals. "During this week we have seen students very excited to know about the latest studies in their field, analyzing with them theories of personality and other things," said Paz.
